Applications have now closed. For information on future trainings, join our email list.

This 3-day virtual training is for social movement organizers interested in learning about the craft of movement strategy. You’ll get to:

  • Explore social movement history, learn from those who came before, and apply those lessons to build power today.

  • Dive deep into our hybrid organizing model that combines the strengths of structure-based organizing and mass protest.

  • Reflect on the struggles and strengths of your organizing together with fellow leaders from across the country and learn from each others’ experiences.

Who should apply?

This training is designed for those who are new to Momentum concepts, looking for a refresh, or taking on new leadership in their organizing context.

Our participants come from a wide-range of backgrounds; some have been organizing for decades, and some have just begun. What they have in common is an eagerness to interrogate both their successes and failures, and a hunger to learn from history, themselves, and others as they continue to grow.

Training Costs

We strive to make our trainings as accessible as possible to those most directly impacted by injustice, including those from organizations with small budgets. With this in mind, we have a sliding scale tuition structure that accommodates organizations and individuals of various budget sizes. If you are coming from an organization or personal background with resources, we ask that you pay what you can so we can support participants from varying economic backgrounds.
